American Healthcare Institute was established in 2015 with the purpose of training professional and committed persons wishing to enter the medical field. American Healthcare Institute is family owned and operated.
The mission of American Healthcare Institute is to provide world class training at an affordable cost to local area individuals who wish to start a career in the medical profession. Student enhancement is also an additional area of focus and we will achieve that by providing additional tools necessary to achieve successful personal, professional, community outcomes.
American Healthcare Institute is located north side of Columbus near Westerville, OH.

American Healthcare Institute offers classes year-round with new classes starting every 6 weeks. The Phlebotomy program is a 60-hour course offered in 4-hour sessions over a 6-week period. The Medical Assistant course is a 96-hour course in 4-hour sessions over a 12-week period. Our EKG program is a 40-hour course offered in 4 hour sessions over a 6-week period. Externships are available at an additional fee and are completed within 40 hours or within one calendar week. Classes may be cancelled if class size requirements are not met. Students will be refunded all payments in full if classes are cancelled for this reason. If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather it will be made up at the end of the program. Students will not be notified individually of class cancellation due to weather. Students are encouraged to watch the local TV and radio station for school closings.
